With Jiao Lian's last training for the year just tomorrow, I now retreat into a state of deep thought. Perhaps it is the emotions that cloud my once swell-headed mind. Only now do we realise how important Jiao Lian was to us and how we let slip by the many opportunities of gold we had. Eg. The C division "semi-final" match against Hwa Ching where I shot 21 shots over the crossbar though Jiao Lian asked me to drop it to the centreman. Because of that we lost. 6-3. Just 3 goals. Obviously it's too late to repent for our wrongdoings and ignorance throughout ours and Jiao Lian's term in RI but now what I feel is most important is that we continue to work hard for our next common objective. THE B division final. Sure, it may be quite a daunting task taking into consideration that we are playing close to 9 Sec 3s and only about 6 Sec 4s but still, with hard work, perserverance and determination I'm sure that we'll be able to do it. After all, that was just what Jiao Lian was asking for this entire time we were under his coaching. Simply asking for some hard work and of course, just to pay attention to what he had to say. Just like the match itself, when you shoot the ball over the crossbar, you carry on swimming, swimming so dam fast for the counter attack. So that's what we're gonna do. We shot the ball over the crossabr many times but this time...
It's gonna be a heck of a counter attack.
