How long have I not posted? Well, about a month plus? So many things have happened and there's still so much left to cover for studies (ahem...Chinese). But it's okay! After a few hours of research I have discovered a HUGE secret of Chinese EOY although it is presumably known by many already. I just had to confirm it myself. I've managed to cover a new song - Collide by Howie Day. Probably the easiest shizz ever. So what have I left to study? Well, I haven't touched history and this tells me not to be overconfident after my performance for history in my CA...WTH, I'm jumping from point to point in this post. Okay, I shall talk abit about today. This morning I went to church and I have to say there was one of the most meaningful sermons I have ever heard. So the priest talked about how we were too caught up with modern age society et cetera and i felt it really reached out to me alot. Yeah, no bowling today so I could study! Studied Maths- Congruence and Similarity..I spent 2 hours 'cos I freekin' didn't pay attention in class...(OOPS)...haiya...regret regret. Thankfully the concept is rather easy to grasp. Then, I went to NYDC at Bugis Junction (I think??!!) and ate a lot. I'm growing fat and losing my tan! No....must start to train again but because of EOYs I have to wait another 2 or 3 weeks before I can start. Okay, I don't feel like typing anymore! I'm getting finger cramps :D Well, when the going gets too tough..I guess sometimes, a break is all you need.

YEAH MAN. I borrowed Greg's FENDER acoustic for the weekend!!! Imba shit. Now I'm like chionging guitar while I have it LOL. Currently, because of Greg's imba teachings yesterday, I now know how to play a lot of songs...to me it's alot. HEHE. Last time I could play only 3. Look how many I can play now!

  1. Always be my baby David Cook
  2. How Far we've Come Matchbox 20
  3. What hurts the most Rascal Flatts
  4. With me Sum 41
  5. Your call Secondhand Serenade
  6. Thunder Boys Like Girls
  7. Five minutes to midnight Boys like girls
  8. Burnin' up Jonas Brothers (STILL LEARNING)
  9. Check Yes Juliet We the Kings (STILL LEARNING)
  10. Hey there Delilah Plain White T's (more or less know how to play but suck at it)
  11. Photograph Nickleback (Still learning)
  12. Fall for you Secondhand Serenade (Still learning)
Yup, so about 12 songs, 4 still learning. So I can confidently play about 7 songs, excluding Hey there Delilah. HEHE. Alright, should I learn...pressure by paramore? Or rockstar by Nickleback. Pressure's more difficult xD

Ciao~

Hi. Yesterday we went to watch Money No Enough 2 by Jack Neo. So here's a short review for all you movie-goers out there.

-------SPOILER-------SPOILER-------SPOILER-------SPOILER-------SPOILER-------

Firstly, the plot for the first part more or less retained the concept of the first show with the lack of money and the criticism of the government ways, of course talking about the ERPs as well. Personally, I feel the humour for the beginning of the show was a bit dry. However as the show progresses, it depicts some of the more relevant issues to Singaporeans nowadays, and it starts to drift slightly away from money to family.

I guess the second part of the show was more about family in the sense that they were concentrating on the mother of the three main characters, Hui, Huang and forgot the last one :P These three characters are brothers and two of them were initially rich, but after one of their business fails and another's lawyer runs away with money, they are left poor and seeking debts from their poor old mother. That was more or less the synopsis for the first part.

Going on to the second part of the show, where family comes in, the three guys are seen taking turns to take care of their old mother who is suffering from "don't know what" disease (DON'T BLAME ME!!! It's a really long name and my little brain already has too much MOV and physics to take in anymore. xD). However, before coming to the decision to take turns, they were very calculative of the costs of having a maid to take care of her et cetera, which was later emphasised on in the show.

After a few weeks, they decided to send her to an old folks' home where she collapsed after screaming for her son to take her back. It was really cruel and that was perhaps the most erm..."powerful" tear-jerker in the show. So, when she goes to the hospital. The doctor finds that her blood type is O minus but the blood bank is low on that kind of blood. Only two packs left. It was initally just enough but however, the daughter of Huang, I think, played my Mark Lee, got caught in a serious accident and also needed O minus blood, however, there wasn't anymore. The old mother, after awaking from a coma of 10 days, overheard this conversation, and ripped out her life support, in an attempt to save the young girl, needless to say, the daughter eventually survived. Yup, then it's on to more BETTER humour and then the end.

Overall, 4 out of 5 stars.

Ok, that wasn't really much of a review. It was like a spoiler T_T I shall add the spoiler sign on top. (Does funky things with keyboard) YEAH!!! There we go. So after that, went to popular and spent 15 minutes searching for the red MOV book, and I FOUND IT!!!! YES~~~~Now, I have better material to study instead of the noobish blue book which RI asked us to buy. HEHE. Went to eat pizza hut for dinner. Nice pizza. HAHA and where did I do all this?!!! JUNCTION 8!!!! HAHA. JADEY YOU HATE THAT PLACE.

Ciao~~~

Sigh, it's so irritating whenever someone gets you into trouble and its not your fault, especially with CROCODILE TEARS. And go do your own work, stop getting people to always do stuff for you. You're not a freekin child anymore goddammit. Ok, chill. I promsied no more emo. SMILE BIG BIG. :DDDDD WTH. Thats was seriously gay. HEHE. Shanxi your birthday's on Monday. Have fun with your bug zapper tennis racket. HEHE.

Here's my list of top 20 songs.

  1. Burnin' up by Jonas Brothers
  2. Shake it by Metro Station
  3. What Hurts the Most by Rascal Flatts
  4. Lips of an Angel by Hinder
  5. The Man Who can't be Moved by The Script
  6. Five Minutes to Midnight by Boys Like Girls
  7. Thunder by Boys Like Girls
  8. Lovebug by Jonas Brothers
  9. CanonRock by Jerry C (not really a song but more like a guitar melody)
  10. With Me by Sum 41
  11. This is Me by Demi Levato and Joe Jonas
  12. The Great Escape by Boys Like Girls
  13. Rockstar by Nickelback
  14. Always Be My Baby by David Cook
  15. Fall for You by SecondHand Serenade
  16. Your Call by Secondhand Serenade
  17. Teardrops on my Guitar by Taylor Swift
  18. Viva La Vida by Coldplay
  19. 7 things by Miley Cyrus
  20. Leavin' by Jesse Mccartney

'Tis gonna be a short and simple post about my current fave songs and some of their lyrics. What hurts the most by Rascal Flatts is nice, go to youtube and look for the acoustic cover by this band called Boyce Avenue, personally, I think it owns the original :D So, I'm also trying to play like them, but can't get the second chorus =.= The version by Clef Hangers is nice because they sing it with acapella, which is possibly the coolest thing to ever set foot on this planet. I like lovebug by Jonas Brothers, 'cos it has a very...erm...like traditional "pokka" like thing...HEHE. Burning up by Jonas Brothers though, has to be my all-time favourite. It's upbeat tune and catchy lyrics never fail to impress me and that's why it's also number 1 on 987 top 20! Your call by Secondhand Serenade was introduced to me by Jadey and erm, supposedly she can play guitar for it. HEHE. Maybe I should try also. LOL. Ok, so I'm gonna put the lyrics for What hurts the most and Burning up.

"What Hurts The Most"

I can take the rain on the roof of this empty house

That don’t bother me

I can take a few tears now and then and just let them out

I’m not afraid to cry every once in a while

Even though going on with you gone still upsets me

There are days every now and again I pretend I’m ok

But that’s not what gets me

What hurts the most

Was being so close

And having so much to say

And watching you walk away

And never knowing

What could have been

And not seeing that loving you

Is what I was tryin’ to do

It’s hard to deal with the pain of losing you everywhere I go

But I’m doin’ It

It’s hard to force that smile when I see our old friends and I’m alone

Still Harder

Getting up, getting dressed, livin’ with this regret

But I know if I could do it over

I would trade give away all the words that I saved in my heart

That I left unspoken

What hurts the most

Is being so close

And having so much to say

And watching you walk away

And never knowing

What could have been

And not seeing that loving you

Is what I was trying to do

What hurts the most

Is being so close

And having so much to say

And watching you walk away

And never knowing

What could have been

And not seeing that loving you

Is what I was trying to do

Not seeing that loving you

That’s what I was trying to do

Burnin' up

I'm hot, you're cold
You go around like you know
Who I am, but you don't
You got me on my toes

Chorus:
I'm slippin' into the lava
And I'm trying' to keep from going under
Baby, you turn the temperature hotter
And I'm burning up, burning up for you baby

(Come on girl)

I fell (I fell)
So fast (so fast)
I can't hold myself
Back
High heels (high heels),
Red dress (red dress)
All by yourself, gotta catch my breath

I'm slippin' into the lava
And I'm tryin' to keep from going under
Baby, you turn the temperature hotter
And I'm burning up, burning up for you baby

Walk in the room,
All I can see is you,
Starin' me down
I know you feel it too

I'm sinking into the lava
And I'm tryin' to keep from going under
Baby, you turn the temperature hotter
And I'm burning up, burning up for you baby (x2)

BIG ROB'S RAP:
Yeah, its burning up
In this place tonight
The brothers singing loud (and we're feeling right!)
Get up and dance (don't try and fight it!)
Naw, for real (and thats no lie!)
Stop, drop and roll (and touch the floor!)
(It keeps on burnin' up)
More and more!
I got JB with me, layin' it down
Come on boys
Let's bring the chorus around!

I'm slippin' into the lava
And I'm tryin' to keep from going under
Baby, you turn the temperature hotter
And I'm burning up, burning up for you baby

Burning up, burning up for you baby

Alright, so I'm officially using Safari for everything except blogging and hotmail 'cos they're really funky on Safari. Today's training was quite fun. because we played 6 on 5 man up and jiao lian was like in a good mood or something so when we scored a goal he's like "YEAH!!!" Then dunno punches his fists into the air or something. But before that was swimming. ZZZ dam sian. 4 sets of 400m and me and Ervin were like owning for all of them except the last set 'cos I slacked like some noob. HEHE. I was lagging behind for the first four laps (we swim the breadth of the pool, so noob right xD). OH yeah baby, went to eat Macdonalds and the prices are now SUPER CHEAP. Because there's some promotion there, during weekdays from 12pm to 2, the prices of the meals are reduced like shit. Normally, a 6pc nugget meal, upsized would be about, $6.35, but because of the promotion, the normal 6pc nugget meal is only $4.50 which means plus 50 cents for upsize, ONLY 5 BUCKS!!! Close your mouth, quick!!! Its 1.52, if somehow you're using Macdonalds wireless to read this. GO SPAM EVERYTHING before the deal ends in about 8 minutes. OH NO!!! It's now 1.53!!! Only 7 minutes left!!!! GOGOGOGO!!!!

Ok, I promised more sensibility in this post! Alright, so I changed my braces today to Black and yellow! I like contrasting colours. They are cool. However, they now look funny as there is some power-chain thingyy put on top. So only like 4 of my brackets are black and yellow and the rest are like...sliver or grey. Grey if I don't brush my teeth :DD
Then, going on to youth training, we watched the um...SEA Games final with Singapore against Phillipines. Phillipines (I have no idea how to spell. OMG.) was kinda screwed 'cos one of their players "****ed up" according to our coach and got an exclusion. He headbutted they guy! Very smart. So, after watching the video for about one hour plus, we officially started training. Well, I guess today I was rather okay-ish. There was one point in time during the game where I centrebacked ANDY O_O. I got owned but somehow managed to get a counterfoul. I thought it was my mansack because I went over him, as usual xD So that was lucky I guess. Yup, then went for tuition. Man. Suddenly physics seems all so challenging. Oh well, that's what you get for not looking at the imba cool properties of light for what, 5, 6 months? (GASPS) Oh man, tomorrow's last day of holiday training D: During mid-september, training will stop and my melanin production or something will decrease, and I'll become white again! Not tan!!!! Dammit. Must but tanning bath. (Yeah right, and burn to death inside like in all the movies you've watched.) I WANT THE RED MOV BOOK! SOMEONE GET IT FOR ME AS MY BIRTHDAY PRESENT OR SOMETHING :DD

HAHA. I totally changed my URL and skin. HEHE this blog aint dying yet. Gee, I can't wait to change my braces again today. Any colour combis...zz I'm running out of ideas.... Woots. I haven't started on my holiday homework (projects) yet man! Totally gonna get 4.0! (Can't you sense the sarcasm within that one statement?!) HA. Goodbye emo past and hello erm, (insert some funny and totally lameo adjective here) future! I also can't wait for youth. Watch imba videos of tall 2.0m Croatian goalie. You get what I mean, I think O_O. Extremely high today, resulting in this weird post. What to do when you get a GPA of 3.2 twice in a row! Not once, not thrice, BUT TWICE! IMBA SHIT MAN! But certain people think 3.73 is very loooowwww. Jerome ah, funny. Tsk tsk, why am I blogging about progress report 2 which was like last month. Ok nevermind. This post is really totally random. More sensibility vcoming up in the next post. READ THIS AT YOUR OWN WASTE OF TIME!!! HEHE.
